Other Work - Novel Studies

Picture
By the Great Horn Spoon!
Any fourth grade teacher will tell you that this novel is wonderful addition to the fourth grade study of the California Gold Rush. It is one of my favorite books due to the figurative language, humor and transformation of one of the main characters. In my classroom we studied literature with novel studies, breaking up the chapters into several sections. The attached documents are a mashup of my own work and that of other authors, so much so that it is impossible to tell what information came from what source originally and it should be noted these documents were used solely for classroom use. They are placed here for the same purpose and may not be copied or sold for any other use.
Student packet for Chapters 1-3 is to the right.
Student packets are then divided into
Chapters 4-7, 8-11, 12-15 and 16-18
Other review materials and assignments are also posted below
